Pat Faramarzi
is a self-described horse "nut" from the age of
four, Pat begged, borrowed or stole rides whenever
and wherever she could. Pony rides with friends
and neighbors, horse sitting for college bound
siblings of horse owning friends, summer leases
and even riding with the Gauchos in Argentina
... Now she has one of her very own, is still
a horse "nut" and is passing the tradition along
to her two daughters!
After many years doing other things, (college,
work, marriage, family, etc) Pat has found a happy
home working as administrative secretary at the
Virginia Thoroughbred Association these past six
years and has vastly broadened her circle of equine
knowledge, friendships and contacts. In addition
to her work at the VTA, Pat enjoys a side career
as a Nationally Certified, licensed massage therapist
(for people).
Pat spends a lot of time reading and learning
about all her favorite things, keeping up with
her home life, family and friends, especially
the four legged ones, and sneaking those rides
in whenever she can.
